Abstract
Dünya kaynakları hızlı bir tükenişin içinde bulunmaktadır. Başta çevremiz olmak üzere bu kaynakları gelecek nesillere taşıyabilmek adına sürdürülebilirlik kavramı günümüzde büyük önem kazanmıştır. Sürdürülebilirliği temin etmek adına küresel ölçekli anlaşmalar ve mutabakatlar hem ülkeleri hem de işletmeleri yeşil yönetim uygulamalarına yöneltmektedir. Bununla bağlantılı olarak daha etkin yönetim modellerine ve değerlendirme sistemlerine ihtiyaç bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada çevre özelinde bir yeşil yönetim modeline ve işletmelerin yeşil yönetim açısından performanslarının değerlendirileceği bir sistemin geliştirilmesine olan ihtiyaç ortaya konulmuştur.

Abstract
World resources are in rapid depletion. In order to carry these resources, especially our environment, to future generations, the concept of sustainability has recently gained great importance. For ensuring sustainability, global agreements and deals lead both countries and businesses to green management practices. In connection with this, there is a need for more effective management models and evaluation systems. In this study, the need for an environment specific green management model and the development of a system to evaluate the performance of enterprises in terms of green management has been revealed.
