Tourism is one of the most important elements for the economic development of countries. Although the analysis of the data of foreign tourists coming to the countries is one of the great importance in terms of contributing to this development, there are not enough studies in Turkey for international tourism. The aim of this study is to examine the foreign tourism demand coming to Turkey from different countries by using cluster analysis and to classify these countries that send tourists to Turkey. In this context, factors such as the income levels of the countries, the number of tourists leaving the countries, Turkey's share in the number of tourists and the length of stay of the tourists in Turkey are considered, and the countries are clustered using the two-stage clustering method. The resulting country groups were characterized in the light of the features used. It is believed that the generated country profiles will help policy makers to develop effective strategies.
