Adana’ya Endemik Çokgözlü Teresamavisi (Polyommatus (Agrodiaetus) theresiae) Kelebeği Üzerinde Gözlem Çalışmaları ve Türün Varlığının Yeniden Onaylanması
Abstract
Lycaenidae ailesinden bir agro türü olan Çokgözlü Teresamavisi (Polyommatus (Agrodiaetus) theresiae) Adana’nın Saimbeyli ilçesine endemik ve çok nadir görülen bir kelebek türüdür. İlk olarak 1992’de tanımlanan ve en son Temmuz 1998’de tip lokalite alanında gözlenen bu kelebek türü 15 yıl sonra, Ağustos 2012’de yapılan saha çalışmalarında tekrar gözlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada Çokgözlü Teresamavisinin dağılış alanlarıyla birlikte bazı biyolojik ve ekolojik özelliklerine ait gözlem bilgileri aktarılmaktadır. Türkiye kelebekleri koruma stratejisinde öncelikli türlerden biri olarak koruma altına alınması gerektiği bildirilen türün, üzerindeki tehditler ve koruma durumuyla ilgili öneriler de tartışılmaktadır
Field Studies on Theresia’s Blue (Polyommatus (Agrodiaetus) theresiae), Endemic to Adana and Reconfirmation of the Existence of Species in its Locality
Abstract
Theresia’s Blue (Polyommatus (Agrodiaetus) theresiae) as an agrodiaetus species from Lycaenidae family is a endemic and rarely seen butterfly species in the district of Saimbeyli, Adana Province in Turkey. This species which was described in 1992 for the first time and observed in its locality on July 1998 for the last time, was recorded once again in the field studies carried out in August 2012, 15 years later than the last record. The preliminary observation findings belonging to some bilogical and ecological traits along with distributional areas of on its distributioal area of P. theresiae are presented in this study. Additionaly, suggestions related to the species which has to be taken under protection as one of endangered species within protection strategy for butterflies in Turkey, the threatining factors and protection conditions are discussed
