An Analysis on Indoor Power Line Communication Systems Using SQAM

Öz

This paper presents the performance analysis with square quadrature amplitude modulation for powerline communication links. In the analysis, the probability density function (PDF) of the instantaneous signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at the end of receiver for the system model under consideration was used. As a result of the analysis, an approximate error expression was derived. With the help of the derived error expression, the effects of the changes in the system parameters on the error performance are examined. In the error curves, the compatibility of the analytical results with the exact numerical (simulation) results confirms the accuracy of the analysis.

SQAM Kullanan Bina-içi Enerji Hattı İletişim Sistemleri Üzerine Bir Analiz

Öz

Bu çalışma, enerji hattı haberleşmesi (power line communication, PLC) sağlayan bağlantılar için kare dördün genlik modülasyonu (square quadrature amplitude modulation, SQAM) ile performans analizini sunmaktadır. Yapılan analizde, ele alınan sistem modeline ait alıcı uçtaki anlık işaret gürültü oranının (signal to noise ratio, SNR) olasılık yoğunluk fonksiyonu (probability density function, PDF) kullanılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda yaklaşık bir hata ifadesi türetilmiştir. Türetilen hata ifadesi yardımıyla, sistem parametrelerinin değişimlerinin hata performansına olan etkileri incelenmiştir. Verilen eğrilerde, analitik sonuçlar ile tam nümerik (simülasyon) sonuçlarının birbiriyle uyumlu olması yapılan analizin doğruluğunu onaylamaktadır.
